Ben stoke about ipl

Season ten of Indian Premier League (IPL) is around the corner and the excitement has already reached its peak. All the eight teams have already pulled up the socks and are looking forward to IPL 10.

During a press conference held in New Delhi, Rising Pune Supergiant welcomed England all-rounder Ben Stokes alongside Pune captain Steve Smith and Ajinkya Rahane.

Stokes who was bought for whopping Rs 14.50 crore during this year s IPL auction, shared his views on IPL and stated that IPL is way ahead of Big Bash or any of the cricket leagues of England. He also expressed his thoughts on playing with many talented players.

Exposure you get in competition in IPL you don't get anywhere else. Sharing dressing room with best players is great for anyone. You don't see so big stars in any other league in England or in Big Bash. To be here for six weeks and focus on T20 will be great. Lots of players from England have always praised the competition, said Stokes.

Stokes also talked about how difficult and tricky T20 format can be and self-confidence is the only way to overcome the hurdles. T20 cricket is very infesting format. You can bowl in same way in two different games but you can be successful in one and not in other. The batsman can hit you anywhere - so I have to back and believe how I bowl, said Stokes.

Stokes is expected to play a major role in the upcoming season of IPL courtesy his all-round skills.

Talking about Stokes IPL team then, RPS were introduced in the 2016 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) along with Gujarat Lions. The Pune team is mostly built around stalwarts that led the Chennai franchise to back-to-back IPL titles in 2010 and 2011.

However, RPS made a disappointing debut and they even failed to qualify for the playoffs, having finished seventh on the table. With this possibly being their last season in the league they have invested heavily in recruiting a top quality side in a bid to make up for a debut which was no less than a nightmare.
